THANK YOU

Thanks to Borough of Madison and employees Lisa Ellis and  Caroline Romanelli for allowing us to make use of this beautiful new space and accommodating our various requests.

A heartfelt thank you our AAUW Member-volunteers who donated door prizes. Others donated their time to help set up welcome snacks and buffet lunch, register guests, and score tournament results.

It took an army of volunteers and 35 mah jongg players to pull off a magnificent day. We played four rounds of four games each, at break-neck speed. It was worth it.

We even had a player volunteer to be timekeeper, General Nina. The competition was fierce as is evident from the results. A difference of 10 points which separated the first three finishers is the smallest gap possible in the scoring.

1st Amanda Karboski, 275

2nd Stephanie Koren, 265

3rd Linda Schuler, 255 points.
