Book Sale: May 3rd & 4th at F.M. Kirby Center

Madison Area AAUW Book Sale will be the same day as the Madison/Chathams Area
Yard Sale, on May 3rd from 10 to 4 pm with a preview at 9 am for $10.00 per person.
The preview is available to all, not just book dealers.
The sale will be at the F.M. Kirby Center, 54 East Street in Madison. The gently used books will be sold at bargain prices. AAUW will sponsor a finale on Sunday, May 4th from Noon to 2 with a Bag Sale. Book lovers will be permitted to take as many books as they can fit into a $10 bag.
AAUW has been holding Book Sales all over the country for more than 100 years. The proceeds
benefit education programs for women and girls. In Madison, the proceeds fund the Branch’s
Mature Woman’s Grants, STEM programs for girls and summertime week-long Tech Trek STEM
camp for middle school girls. In the past three years, 13 grants have been awarded to local
women continuing their education, a local STEM event was held in Madison for middle and high
school girls, and financial aid was provided to several middle school girls who will be attending
the AAUW NJ Tech Trek camp this July.
AAUW has been transforming women’s lives for more than a century. Our Madison area branch

Our Biannual Mah Jongg Tournament
Thurs, May 15, 2025 * 10:00 a.m.(doors open 9:30) to 3:30 p.m.
Madison Area AAUW Branch is hosting the next Mahjongg Tournament on Thursday, May 15, 2025 between 10:00 a.m.(doors open 9:30) to 3:30 p.m. at the Community Arts Center, 10 Kings Road in Madison.
Please come out to support education for women and girls with 4 rounds of Mahjongg games of 55 minutes each, cash prizes for 1st , 2nd & 3rd place, coffee and cake plus a buffet lunch, free parking placard and door prize and 50/50 drawings.
