I Can Make A Difference (iCMAD)

PM in the Chase Room. The Madison Area AAUW Branch is sponsoring a program that highlights the critical need for supporting single parents. The event will feature Faith Saunders, the Founder and Executive Director of I Can Make A Difference (iCMAD), a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering emotional resilience, self-awareness, and confidence in single parents. The program is free, open to all, and requires no reservations.

I Can Make a Difference (ICMAD) is an organization dedicated to addressing the real-world needs of single parents by providing a comprehensive range of support services and resources. With a strong emphasis on emotional wellness and personal growth, ICMAD offers:

• Workshops: Designed to enhance emotional resilience and self-awareness, helping parents manage trauma and stress.
• Peer Support Groups: These provide a safe space for single parents to share experiences, gain valuable insights, and build supportive networks.
• Practical Skill-Building Programs: Focused on stress management and other essential skills, empowering parents with tools for personal transformation.

About the Speaker

Faith Saunders is the Founder and Executive Director of I Can Make A Difference (iCMAD), a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering emotional resilience, self-awareness, and confidence; empowering single parents to overcome challenges and build long-term wellbeing. 

Saunders’ professional career has been rooted in the mental health field. She began her journey at Covenant House in New York City, where she provided support to teen mothers and their children. She later held various roles at University Behavioral Health Care while earning her master’s degree in Psychiatric Rehabilitation. Following this, she spearheaded the development and direction of an employment institute at the New Jersey Mental Health Association.

In 2015, Saunders transitioned from this role to establish her own leadership and professional

development consulting and training company, Discover A New Future. Through iCMAD,

Saunders channels her expertise into dynamic programs that address the real-world needs of
